The first-ever band that actually originated at The City Wine Sellar in downtown Elizabeth City will entertain in true ticky tacky fashion. The original Ticky Tacky began as a four-piece band that has resulted in a few spinoff bands, such as The Charlie Hoidal Band. Ticky Tacky is currently a two-piece band that sounds like a full band with their crowd-pleasing use of a sweet little loop station.Fifty percent of this husband-wife duo, Britney Luton sings lead vocals, plays bass, and egg shakers. Bill Luton croons some vocals, plays guitar, harmonica, and works the loop station.
They have an originals-heavy flavor; with lots of great cover tunes.
