City Wine Sellar is excited to be host to a performance by Eddy Kitchen, a local boy coming home to sing a little country for some old friends and new fans. Son of John and JoAnn Kitchen, Eddy is a 1985 graduate of Northeastern High School. Eddy is a singer, a songwriter, and an all around good guy. He currently lives in Richmond, VA. Mainly a country music performer, we'll very likely hear him belt out a few cover tunes, as well. Check him out on Sound Click -- he's had a few tunes hit the top of the Sound Click charts. This group of locals is a little bit country, a little bit rock 'n roll! More specifically, "progressive modern rock and alternative country." The result is a "bluesy-folksy, roots-rockish, guitar-centric sound." Everyone who hears Chuck Hodges and His Makeshift Band falls in love with their laid back style. They will calm you and energize you at the same time. Their music has a way of making you feel like all is right with the world.
