The Genesis Project is a band of seasoned musicians whose music covers many genres, but focusing on jazz and rhythm and blues. They love to get requests from the audience for any type of music, however. Originating in Perquimans County, The Genesis Project has travelled the East Coast providing great entertainment at many venues. July 15, 2011 -- Paper Mountain

Paper Mountain is an acoustic duo comprised of singer/songwriters Alice Conner and Sean Parker. They have been performing together for years melding their different musical influences into a soulful package of blues, folk, country, jazz, rock, and everything in between. They are most at home playing at vineyards, weddings, in cozy coffeehouses, private parties, and festivals. They have had a great deal of success from their debut CD entitled, "View from Above" (recorded at Flat Five studios in Salem, VA.) and have performed live in-studio sessions on 93.7 BOB FM, 89.5 WHRV, and 100.9 WRRW.

July 6, 2011 -- Wednesday Wine Tasting

Wednesday, July 6th, is the first Wednesday of the month. You know what that means? First Wednesday Wine Tasting! July's tasting is always extra fun and splendid, as it is reserved for Summer Wines and Sangrias! We will be serving our now-famous white wine Sangria and maybe our Mint Julep Sangria that folks enjoyed on Kentucky Derby Weekend in addition to some great summer wines. Tasting is scheduled from 6-7:30 pm. $15 per person. RSVP requested.
